So yeah, first term of second year is over.. finally. Never thought it would be to be honest!

There's been a lot of problems this term with our tutors and technicians being totally and utterly useless. We are supposed to be dyeing yarn for our warp on the looms, but the science people haven't been able to make up appropriate solutions of chemicals and dyes, so the pieces of yarn have been dyeing unevenly. We are supposed to have dyed our yarn and started putting it on the looms by now, but erm, that hasn't happened, and we're asking for an extension due to this. If we don't get it, I don't actually know what we're going to do.. hand in one sample maybe?!

Our weave tutor is still learning all about the uni and machines, but she hasn't been timetabled to tutor us for this dyeing/weaving project, so we have been left to our own devices. We have never done anything like this before. Surely they should have seen this and done something about it?!!!

And then we waited five weeks for our knit project marks back, which two weeks over the university guidelines. But I got a First for it, which I am extremely pleased about.. photographs of my knit shall be coming soon (:

Apart from the work, it's been good (: too much spending and going out though haha. Went to see the Leicester Tigers a couple of weeks ago with my friend that came up. Oh my, it was amaze.. okay, we were standing, but we were right next to the pitch by the barrier. Wow, the violence! Haha. It was a lovely weekend..
